Incompetence

Now Rumsfeld is trying to blame his own incompetence on others.

It's all about winning or losing a propaganda war:

Washington and the army must respond faster to events and learn to exploit the internet and satellite TV, he said.

That's the problem with psychopaths like him. They simply don't understand when they are on a path that is both wrong and immoral. If you have problems with your strategy, you just have to find another (aggressive) strategy. Although certain things are difficult to give up, like lying and manipulating.

The term "psychopath" is to be taken serious here. The key figures in power in the US are psychopaths, I'm afraid.
